The First Division 1920/21 was the tenth season in the history of the highest Maltese football league . FC Floriana became champions for the fourth time .

Compared to the previous season , Cottonera United did not participate. After a five-year hiatus, the Msida Rangers , a two-year hiatus from FC Floriana and FC St. George’s and, for the first time, Sliema Rangers , Qormi United and the Dockyard Police team were newcomers .

mode

The season was played in a simple round. There were two points for a win, one point for a draw and no point for a loss. If there was a tie, a playoff was played for the championship.
