Gulf Stream is a city in Palm Beach County in the US state Florida with 786 inhabitants (as of 2010).
geography
The city is located on an elongated island on the Atlantic Ocean . It is bordered by Briny Breezes to the north, Boynton Beach to the west and Delray Beach to the south . Florida State Road A1A runs through the city .
Demographic data
According to the 2010 census, the then 786 inhabitants were distributed over 525 households. The population density was 413.7 inh / km². 98.5% of the population identified themselves as white , 0.3% as African American and 0.6% as Asian Americans . 0.5% said they belonged to another ethnic group and 0.1% to several ethnic groups. 4.3% of the population were Hispanics or Latinos .
In 2010 children under 18 years of age and 54.6% of all households lived in 18.0% of all households with persons at least 65 years of age. 69.5% of households were family households (consisting of married couples with or without offspring or one parent with offspring). The average household size was 2.18 people and the average family size was 2.59 people.
