The Cesta I. triedy 50 ( Slovak for '1st order street 50'), short I / 50 , was a 1st order street in Slovakia . With more than 400 kilometers, it was the longest road of this category in Slovakia and crossed the country from northwest to east. Larger cities that the road passed or touched were Trenčín , Prievidza , Zvolen , Rimavská Sobota , Košice and Michalovce . More or less it was part of European routes 50 , 58 , 77 , 571 and 572 .

By decision of the Slovak Ministry of Transport, the road was completely dismantled on August 1, 2015 and divided into four other road sections:

The number I / 50 could still be used as an alternative until June 30, 2016.
