The football regional league Hamburg 1969/70 was the 25th season of the highest amateur class in Hamburg . The Landesliga Hamburg was a league level below the Regionalliga Nord . It was held in a relay.

Compared to the previous season , SC Sperber Hamburg came back to the regional league after three years from the Regionalliga Nord, plus the three promoted SC Victoria Hamburg (re- promotion after one season), FC St. Pauli Amateure (return after nine years) and TuS Güldenstern Stade (Return after six years).

The winner was the Langenhorn TSV . Together with the runner-up SC Sperber Hamburg, he took part in the promotion round to Regionalliga Nord . There Langenhorn missed the ascent as his group, while the SC Sperber won his group and rose.

At the end of the season, the teams had to relegate to the last four places. TuS Güldenstern Stade had to leave the league after one season, Borussia Harburg after three seasons, TSV Uetersen after 20 years and HEBC Hamburg after six years.
