List of architectural monuments in Hagen
The list of architectural monuments in Hagen contains the listed buildings in the area of the city of Hagen in North Rhine-Westphalia (status: 2011, with some updates). These monuments are entered in the list of monuments of the city of Hagen; The basis for the admission is the Monument Protection Act North Rhine-Westphalia (DSchG NRW).
Architectural monuments
In the city of Hagen, more than 450 objects are entered in the list of monuments (as of December 31, 2011), including around 300 architectural monuments.
This list of monuments includes - if available - a photograph of the monument, the name or in italics the type of building, the location or address, the date of entry in the list of monuments and the list number of the Lower Monument Authority . There are also short descriptions and information on the construction time.
The monument name corresponds to the name given by the city of Hagen. The location includes (street name and house number) before the address district , which - if necessary - is added to the respective residential area or district (in parentheses). Abbreviations have been resolved for better understanding, the typography has been adapted to that used in Wikipedia and typos have been corrected.
The list given here is still incomplete (as of June 2013) and is not up-to-date on a daily basis, because it happens time and again that objects are deleted from the list of monuments (see section “ Former architectural monuments ”). In addition, an average of 10 properties are placed under monument protection in Hagen each year. Many of the new additions were already recorded in the list of cultural assets (inventory list) of the Hagen city administration in the 1970s to 1980s.
