- Aachen : Lousberg Obelisk on the Lousberg
- Bad Salzuflen : Rudolph Brandes Obelisk
- Bad Segeberg : Rantzau obelisk , with the installation by Heinrich Rantzau in 1590 the earliest example of the erection of an obelisk during the Renaissance in Germany. The monument erected in honor of the Danish king Frederick II was originally 16.5 meters high, after being damaged in 1784 it is still around 6 meters today.

- Bergen-Belsen : Cemetery on the historic camp site of what was then the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp

- On the Heidefriedhof (Dresden) opposite the celebration hall for the International Federation of Resistance Fighters ( Fédération Internationale des Résistants (FIR))
- Lookout point on the Collenbuschstraße on the White Hirsch with sandstone obelisk from 1861 (coordinates: 51 ° 3'41 "N 13 ° 48'56" E)
- Erfurt : Erthal obelisk on the cathedral square
- Frankfurt : Obelisk at the fountain of Kurfürstenplatz (coordinates: 50.120917, 8.642526)
- Glaubitz : Two obelisks as markings of the area of the troop display of King Augustus the Strong in 1730 , also called the Zeithain pleasure camp . Two other associated obelisks are at Zeithain and Streumen .
- Hanau : honor column
- Karlsruhe : Obelisk ( constitutional column) made of red sandstone erected in 1826 on the Rondellplatz south of the Karlsruhe pyramid to commemorate the Baden constitution of 1818.

- Clemensbrunnen , erected in 1791 as a memorial for the construction of the first Koblenz aqueduct
- Memorial to the fallen soldiers of the campaign of 1866 on the right bank of the Rhine in memory of the fallen soldiers of the Prussian VIII Army Corps in the German-Austrian War
- Landshut : In the middle of Bismarckplatz as a war memorial for the members of the garrison and the town of Landshut who died in the war against France in 1870 and 1871.
- Leipzig : Subcamp Leipzig-Thekla : Obelisk in memory of the victims of the Abtnaundorf massacre (Camp Theklaer Strasse / Heiterblickstrasse in Abtnaundorf )

Munich :
- Obelisk on Karolinenplatz , dedicated to the 30,000 Bavarian fallen in the Patriotic War , designed by Leo von Klenze in 1833 , total height: 29 meters, clad with bronze plates made from former cannons
- Obelisk of Titus Sextius Africanus in the State Museum of Egyptian Art , middle part around 50 AD, the only ancient free-standing obelisk in Germany, erected in 1972, height: 5.80 meters
- Palace of Justice : on the roof (Lenbachplatz facade)
- Obelisk in honor of Prince Regent Luitpold in Luitpoldpark , 1911, 17 meters high
- Ohrdruf : Obelisk as a memorial on a mass grave for 5,000 Soviet and Yugoslav prisoners of war (height of the "chicken nest" of the military training area)

Potsdam :
- Alter Markt : Wall core with reddish marble cladding, decorated with sphinxes , built 1753–1755 according to a design by G. W. v. Knobelsdorffs . The portrait medallions of the Hohenzollern rulers during the reconstruction in 1979 were replaced by portraits of Potsdam builders
- Breite Straße / Lindenstraße: sandstone with hieroglyphic characters, remnants of the Neustädter Tor, which was largely destroyed in 1945 and originally flanked by two obelisks. Built in 1753 according to a design by Knobelsdorff, restored in 1980 and moved to its current location
- Obelisk portal : access to Sanssouci Park at the eastern end of Hauptallee, designed by Knobelsdorff in 1747. The sandstone obelisk, built in 1748 outside the park on Schopenhauerstraße, is adorned with hieroglyphic symbols
- New Garden Potsdam : Marble obelisk from 1793/94 based on a design by Carl Gotthard Langhans with reliefs of the four seasons in front of the south wing of the Marble Palace
- Rheinsberg : Obelisk as a memorial for Prussian participants in the Seven Years' War , built in the 1790s
- Schloß Holte-Stukenbrock : Main camp VI K (326) : Obelisk in the honor cemetery of Soviet war dead
- Streumen : Obelisk marking the area of the troop display of King Augustus the Strong in 1730 , also called the Zeithain pleasure camp . Three other associated obelisks are at Zeithain and Glaubitz .
- Valley : Obelisk at the Kasperl spring in the Mühlthal district, reminiscent of the construction of Munich's water supply from the Mangfall valley
- Wiesbaden : Luisenplatz
- Worms Ludwigsdenkmal A 24.30 m high monument built in 1895 with funds from the population on the parade ground of Karl Hofmann for Grand Duke Ludwig IV .
- Würzburg : The obelisk fountain in the center of the Lower Market Square, planned and built in 1802 by Johann Andreas Gärtner

- Kiev : The 43-meter-high obelisk in honor of the city of Kiev is named after the title of "City of Heroes" awarded to the city of Kiev in 1965. In 1985, on the 40th anniversary of the victory in the “Great Patriotic War”, it was placed on Victory Square . Its tip is crowned by a gold Soviet star .
