Loffre is a French municipality with 729 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Nord in the region of Hauts-de-France . It belongs to the arrondissement of Douai and the canton of Aniche (until 2015: canton of Douai-Sud ). The inhabitants are called Loffriens .
geography
Loffre is located about seven kilometers east-southeast of Douai in the Ostrevent landscape . Loffre is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Montigny-en-Ostrevent in the north and northeast, Masny in the east and southeast, Lewarde in the south and Guesnain in the west.
