geography
Lambres-lez-Douai is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Douai in the north and northeast, Sin-le-Noble in the east, Férin in the southeast, Corbehem and Courchelettes in the south, Brebières in the southwest and Cuincy in the northwest. The Scarpe , a tributary of the Scheldt, flows through the municipality .
The Douai-Brayelle airfield protrudes into the municipality.
