Hornaing ( Dutch Horning ) is a French municipality with 3553 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Nord in the region of Hauts-de-France . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Douai and the canton of Sin-le-Noble . The inhabitants are called Hornaingeois .

Hornaing is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Wandignies-Hamage in the north, Hélesmes in the east, Escaudain in the south and Erre in the west.
