Courchelettes is a northern French municipality with 2809 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Nord , in the region of Hauts-de-France and belongs to Arrondissement Douai and Canton Douai . The inhabitants are called Courchelettois .
geography
Courchelettes is located on the major shipping route Dunkirk-Scheldt at the confluence of the Canal de la Sensée with the canalized Scarpe . Courchelettes is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Lambres-lez-Douai in the north, Férin in the southeast and Corbehem in the southwest.
