Auchy-lez-Orchies is about 15 kilometers northeast of Douai . Auchy-lez-Orchies is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Cappelle-en-Pévèle in the north and north-west, Nomain in the north and north-east, Orchies in the east, Coutiches in the south and Bersée in the west.
