Villers-au-Tertre is a commune in the French department of Nord in the region of Hauts-de-France . Since the end of the 18th century, the population of the municipality has been between around 330 and 630 (as of January 1, 2017).

Villers-au-Tertre is 38 kilometers south of Lille . Neighboring communities are Erchin in the north, Monchecourt in the east, Fressain in the south-east and Bugnicourt in the south-west .

Eight infant corpses were found here in July 2010.

history

The place is first mentioned in 1184 under the name "Vileir".
