Masny Town Hall

Masny ( Dutch Malni ) is a French municipality with 4143 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Nord in the region of Hauts-de-France . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Douai and the Canton of Aniche . The inhabitants are called Masnysia .

geography

Masny is located about eight kilometers east-southeast of Douai in the Ostrevent landscape . Masny is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Pecquencourt in the north, Écaillon in the east, Auberchicourt in the south-east, Erchin and Monchecourt in the south, Lewarde in the south-west, Loffre in the west and Montigny-en-Ostrevent in the north-west.
