Beuvry-la-Forêt is a French commune with 2,758 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Nord in the region of Hauts-de-France . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Douai and the Canton of Orchies . The inhabitants are called Beuvrygeois (es) .
geography
Beuvry-la-Forêt is about twenty kilometers northeast of Douai . Beuvry-la-Forêt is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Landas in the north, Sars-et-Rosières in the east and south-east, Tilloy-lez-Marchiennes in the south-east, Marchiennes in the south, Bouvignies in the west and south-west and Orchies in the north-west.
The A23 autoroute runs through the municipality .
