Cuincy is a northern French municipality with 6435 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Nord , in the region of Hauts-de-France and belongs to Arrondissement Douai and Canton Douai . The inhabitants are called Cuincynois .

geography

Cuincy is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Lauwin-Plaque in the north, Flers-en-Escrebieux in the northeast, Douai in the east, Férin in the southeast, Lambres-lez-Douai in the south, Brebières in the southwest, Quiéry-la-Motte in the west and Esquerchin in the Northwest. The Escrebieux stream , a tributary of the Scarpe, flows through the municipality .
