Wandignies-Hamage is a French commune with 1,302 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Nord in the region of Hauts-de-France . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Douai and the Canton of Sin-le-Noble (until 2015: Canton Marchiennes ). The inhabitants are called the Wandinamageois .
geography
Wandignies-Hamage is about 17 kilometers east-northeast of Douai . The canalised Scarpe flows north of the municipality . Wandignies-Hamage is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Warlaing in the north, Rieulay in the north, Hélesmes in the east, Hornaing in the southeast, Erre in the south, Fenain in the southwest, Rieulay in the west and Marchiennes in the northwest.
