Lustdorf (in the local dialect : [ˈluəʃtərəf (ˑ)] or [ˈluəʃtɔːrfˑ] ) is a former municipality and a village in the municipality of Thundorf in the Swiss canton of Thurgau .
From 1803 to 1994 Lustdorf formed an independent local community within the Thundorf municipal community . On January 1, 1995, Lustdorf came to the political municipality of Thundorf as part of the Thurgau community reform .

The parish village of Lustdorf is 7 kilometers east of Frauenfeld . In addition to Lustdorf, the hamlets of Grub, Held and Hessenbohl belonged to the local community .
history
Lustdorf was presumably a Franconian foundation that belonged to Kurzdorf and Langdorf . In the High Middle Ages it came to the Reichenau Abbey . From the late Middle Ages until 1798 formed Lustdorf with Mettendorf and Eschikofen a court , which hold half reichenauisch and wave bergisch was. Some courts were located in the Wellenberg court, others in the so-called high courts of the places ruling Thurgau.
In church terms, Lustdorf initially belonged to Frauenfeld-Oberkirch . In 1275 a priest is attested in the parish , which also included Wetzikon and Strohwilen . 1386 reichenauische went Kollatur to the owner of the domain Spiegelberg over. The Reformation prevailed in 1529 . The Counter-Reformation by Fischingen Abbey failed. Lustdorf belongs to the Thundorf school community .
Agriculture, livestock, dairy and forestry dominated the economy. Viticulture was practiced until around 1900, and from 1860 there was also some trade, including an oil mill . From 1920 to 1929 there was a ship embroidery.

Of the 189 inhabitants of the village of Lustdorf in 2018, 12 or 6.3% were foreign nationals. 137 (72.5%) were Protestant Reformed and 20 (10.6%) were Roman Catholic.
