Marco Geisler

Marco Geisler (born January 18, 1974 in Cottbus ) is a former German rower .

The Federal Police officer has been rowing since 1990. In the four-four he was a total of four times world champion (1999, 2001-2003) and three times vice world champion (1995, 1997, 1998).

After he was still a substitute in Atlanta in 1996 , he won the bronze medal at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney . In 2004 in Athens his boat made it to the final run, but in the end Geisler and his comrades had to be content with fifth place.
