Uwe mouth
Uwe Mund (born June 26, 1962 in Roßla ) is a former rower from the German Democratic Republic . In 1982 he won the world championships in a double foursome .
In 1980 Uwe Mund won the Junior World Championships in Hazewinkel in a single, ahead of Andreas Reinke from the Federal Republic of Germany .
Uwe mouth from SC Magdeburg won in 1981 at the East German championships in one , at the World Championships in Munich but started Rüdiger Reiche for the GDR. In 1982, Mund competed in a double scull with Martin Winter , Uwe Heppner and Karl-Heinz Bußert , with whom he won the World Championships in Lucerne after winning the GDR championships. In 1983 Uwe Mund was able to win again at the GDR championships in single, at the world championships in Duisburg he took second place behind Peter-Michael Kolbe from the Federal Republic of Germany . In 1985, Mund won the GDR title in single for the third time, and at the rowing world championships in Hazewinkel he reached fifth place. Uwe Mund won two further GDR championship titles in a double scull in 1988 and 1989. At the Olympic Games in 1988 he finished fifth in a double scull with Uwe Heppner.
