Rolandas Maščinskas (born August 6, 1992 in Prienai ) is a Lithuanian rower .

Rolandas Maščinskas has been rowing since 2006. At the Junior World Championships in 2009, he and Ernestas Zarskis took fourth place in the two-man without helmsman . A few weeks later, he and Saulius Ritter rowed to eighth place at the 2009 European Championships . In 2010 Maščinskas and Ritter switched to double sculls and won the bronze medal at the U23 World Championships in this boat class . At the 2010 Youth Olympic Games , Maščinskas won in one .

At the U23 World Championships held in July 2011, Maščinskas won the bronze medal in one. At the beginning of September 2011, Maščinskas and Ritter finished tenth at the World Championships , and two weeks later they won the European Championships in 2011 . In 2012, Maščinskas and Ritter took part in the 2012 Olympic Games and took sixth place there. They finished fourth at the 2012 European Championships . The following year, the two Lithuanians won the silver medal behind the Italian boat and ahead of the Norwegians at the European Championships . At the 2013 World Championships, the Norwegians won ahead of the Lithuanians and the Italians.

In 2014 Maščinskas and Ritter won the title at the European Championships for the second time . At the U23 World Championships in 2014, Rolandas Maščinskas and Auremas Adomavicius took second place in the double scull. In Amsterdam at the 2014 World Championships in the adult class, the Croatians won ahead of the Italians and Australians, the fourth-placed Maščinskas and Ritter were a little over a tenth of a second behind silver and bronze. In 2015, the Lithuanians won the silver medal behind the Croatians at the World Championships . At the European Championships in 2016, the Croatians won ahead of the German boat and the two Lithuanians. Maščinskas then missed participation in the 2016 Summer Olympics due to injury , where Mindaugas Griškonis took his place in two and won the silver medal with Ritter.

At the European Championships in 2017 , Maščinskas rowed in double fours and won the title together with Dovydas Nemeravičius , Martynas Džiaugys and Aurimas Adomavičius . The team also dominated the rowing World Cup that season and finally won the gold medal at the World Championships in Florida in front of the boats from Great Britain and Estonia. In 2018, the double fours from Italy won the European Championships in Glasgow ahead of the Lithuanians, who competed in the line-up of Dovydas Nemeravičius, Saulius Ritter, Rolandas Maščinskas and Aurimas Adomavičius.

The 1.99 m tall Rolandas Maščinskas studies at the Mykolas Romeris University in Vilnius. In July 2015, Maščinskas and Ritter won the title at the 2015 Summer Universiade .
