The Mars superliga 2000/01 was the eighth season of the Slovak top division in men's football. The season began on July 18, 2000 and ended on June 13, 2001.

After the reorganization, the league was reduced to ten clubs. They played against each other four times, twice at home and twice away. Each team played 36 games. As in the previous year, the championship was for the last time FK Inter Bratislava . The team secured the championship on the penultimate matchday by beating Ozeta Dukla Trenčín 4-1. Relegated of the season was FC Spartak Trnava .
