Martin Rinderknecht (born May 20, 1972 in St. Georgen ) is a German photographer and designer.

Life

Rinderknecht completed his training at the precision engineering school in Schwenningen as a precision technician and technical draftsman .

Since 2000 he has been doing commissioned work in the field of people photography . Rock bands and artists like Fury in the Slaughterhouse , Carl Carlton , Die Wohnraumhelden , Christoph Stein-Schneider , Motörhead , Tommy Lee (Mötley Crüe), Wayne Hussey , Ritchie Blackmore & Candice Night from Blackmore's Night , Kai and Thorsten Wingenfelder , Gero Drnek , Ossy Pfeiffer , Andora are among his customers.

He accompanied the Hanover rock band Fury in the Slaughterhouse in the field of photography and cover design from 2002 with The Color Fury , a project with the German pop artist Andora up to the final tour in 2008. During this time, DVDs and studio albums ( The Color Fury , Nimby and Every Heart Is A Revolutionary Cell ). In addition, Rinderknecht reworked all of the band's albums that were released as remasters under the Kick it out label .

Rinderknecht lives and works in Hanover. Together with the illustrator Anne-Rikta Grobe, he has two children. He heads the agency RpunktMEDIA GmbH. Rinderknecht has been working in the film industry as an operator and cameraman for special shots since 2008.

Awards

Rinderknecht received the Red Dot Design Award in 2008 and 2013 for the development of the mobile XDR device .

Movie and TV

Martin Rinderknecht developed the "Digicopter" ( RC helicopter with camera) in 2004 , with which aerial photos and videos for cinema and television productions as well as advertising and image films can be made from a height of up to 150 meters. The most recent films were The Lake by Luc Besson , Der geilste Tag by Florian David Fitz and Snowden by Oliver Stone , among the television series Alarm für Cobra 11 and the Tatort series. The aerial shots are made with the cameraman Nikolaj Georgiew BvK and Johannes Heine on behalf of film productions and TV stations.
