Mikhail Innokentyevich Linge
Mikhail Innokentjewitsch Linge ( Russian Михаил Иннокентьевич Линге ; born November 26, 1958 in Kaluga ; † February 4, 1994 ) was a Soviet sprinter whose special route was the 400-meter run .
He was a member of the Soviet team in the 4-by-400-meter relay , which competed in the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow with Remigijus Valiulis , Linge, Nikolai Tschernetski and Viktor Markin, and finished in 3: 01.1 min Gold medal in front of the GDR (silver in 3: 01.3 min) and Italy (bronze in 3: 04.3 min). The team benefited from the US absence, which boycotted the Moscow Games .
Linge did not start in the individual races over 400 meters.
In the same year (1980) he was the Soviet national champion over 400 meters in the hall (45.9 s).
No other services by Linge are documented. In the Soviet relay, which came several times in the medal ranks at World and European Championships, he was not represented.
During his active time, Linge was a student in Moscow.
