The 1986/87 OHL season was the 7th season of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). The Oshawa Generals won the Hamilton Spectator Trophy as the best point team of the regular season and secured their tenth J. Ross Robertson Cup in the subsequent playoff final against the North Bay Centennials .
