from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The company Orgelbau Tzschöckel in Althütte -Fautspach, Baden-Württemberg , builds organs in the second generation . The sphere of activity of the medium-sized company extends far beyond the borders of Baden-Württemberg.

history

The workshop was founded in 1972 by Reinhart Tzschöckel (1939–2003) in Allmersbach im Tal and in 1975 relocated to larger rooms in Fautspach near Althütte.

The company's founder, Reinhart Tzschöckel, was born in Naundorf near Freiberg, Saxony, and between 1953 and 1964 learned the trade of organ building at Orgelbau Friedrich Weigle in Leinfelden-Echterdingen . 1965 was followed by the master craftsman and the change of the company Walcker of Ludwigsburg . In 1972 he set up his own business in Allmersbach.

After the death of his father, Friedrich Tzschöckel (* 1966) took over the business in 2003. Friedrich Tzschöckel passed the journeyman's examination for organ and harmonium builder in 1986 and won the competition for young craftspeople with 1st place. In 1994 the master's examination followed and in 2006 further training to become a qualified restorer in organ and harmonium building.
