It borders in the northwest with Saint-Victor-en-Marche , in the north with La Chapelle-Taillefert , in the northeast with Saint-Christophe , in the southeast and in the south with Sardent and in the west with Janaillat and Azat-Châtenet . The municipality is crossed by the Leyrenne river in the west and the Gartempe in the east .
