San Pedro de Urabá is located in the northwest of Antioquia , in the Urabá sub-region , 409 km from Medellín , at an altitude of 200  m above sea level. NN and has an average temperature of 27 ° C. The municipality borders Arboletes to the north, Valencia in the department of Córdoba to the east, Tierralta ( Córdoba ) to the south and Turbo to the west .

history

San Pedro de Urabá was founded in 1948 by the brothers Pedro and Agustín Cuadrado and first settled by settlers from Córdoba and Chocó . Since 1978 San Perdo de Urabá has the status of a municipality.
