The Silnice I / 64 ( Czech for: "1st class street 64") is a Czech state road (1st class street).

course

The road connects Františkovy Lázně (Franzensbad), where it branches off in the suburb Horní Lomany from Silnice I / 21 , which leads north to the German border at Bad Brambach , and (Asch). It crosses the Hazlov community on its course to the northwest . It turns to the southwest in Asch and continues a short distance to the German-Czech border in the direction of Selb , where it merges into the Bavarian State Road 2179, which after about 6 kilometers reaches the German Federal Motorway 93 at the Selb-Nord exit. In the immediate vicinity of the border there is a large petrol station and a market.

The total length of the road in the Czech Republic is 16.384 kilometers.

history

The road used to be part of Silnice I / 21 , but crossed the Czech-German border a little further north near Neuhausen in the direction of the town of Rehau .
