al-Qadr
Al-Qadr ( Arabic سورة القدر 'Determination') is the 97th sura of the Koran . It is a sura from Mecca and consists of only 5 verses . Traditionally, it is about the night the Quran was revealed. This is said to have happened in the month of Ramadan , see Lailat al-Qadr .
According to Islamic tradition, reciting this sura is rewarded by God as if the reader had fasted the month of Ramadan and spent Lailatu 'l-Qadr with worship.
