Zádor (until 1927 in Slovak "Zádorčie"; in Hungarian Zádorháza ) is a small community in southern central Slovakia east of Rimavská Sobota near the border with Hungary .

It lies in the middle of the Rimava valley basin in the floodplain of the Blh river and was first mentioned in writing as Zadorhaza in 1327 . The place developed as early as the 13th century and carried the Slovak name Zádorčie between 1920 and 1927 .

Until 1918 the community belonged to the Kingdom of Hungary and then came to the newly formed Czechoslovakia . She came back to Hungary for a short time from 1938 to 1945 through the First Vienna Arbitration .
