Ratkovská Suchá (Hungarian Ratkószuha ) is a municipality in southern central Slovakia .
The municipality is located west of Ratková , on the left of the main road 526 towards Hnúšťa on a hill between the valleys of the Blh and Turiec .
The place was first mentioned in writing under the name Zuha in 1323. The settlement was originally located on the higher Stráne ; due to lack of water, it was moved to a lower location. Since the water problems also occurred at the new location, the name Suchá (dry) was retained . It was first owned by the Derencsényi family, and later by the Bakos and Lórantffy families. From the 18th century the village belonged to the Muráň domain .
On the main square next to an old tree is the neo-classical style Protestant church from 1817, which was renovated in 1949. The bell tower from 1925 marks the community center. Today the community is often a destination for weekend house residents.
