In the 19th century, beggars were a lively club. Among them were the League of Theater Friends ( Spolek divadelních ochotníků ), founded in 1812, and the Slovanská lípa ( "Slavic Linden Tree" ) association was established in 1848 . In 1864 the choral society Hlahol ( "Klang" ) followed and in 1869 the society Sokol ( "Falke" ).
Due to its favorable location directly on the Prague - Pilsen - Rozvadov motorway , easily accessible via motorway exit 34, the city has developed well in recent years and the population is growing.
