Becke is a district of Gummersbach in the Oberbergischer Kreis in southern North Rhine-Westphalia , Germany .

To the southwest of the Unnenberg massif, Becke spreads out in the valley of the Agger tributary of the same name, which continues from here . The place is on the L 323, which leads from Gummersbach to Meinerzhagen . In the center of the district road 46 (K46) branches off in the direction of Niedernhagen .

Johann Dietrich von Steinen reported in the 18th century that there were two stick hammers on the stream.
The Lenz bakery also served as an inn and post office. The stagecoach operated until 1926.
