Bruce
Bruce is a male given name and a family name . Bruce is the English form of the Norman village of Brix . The family name comes from Sir Robert de Brus, a Norman knight who with the Conqueror William to England came and his son Robert in Scotland by David I for Lord of Annandale was appointed. He was the founder of Clan Bruce . The family also includes the 5th Lord of Annandale, Robert de Brus, who unsuccessfully raised claims to the Scottish throne in 1291, and his grandson of the same name, who fought for independence from Scotland together with William Wallace and was King of from 1306 to 1329 Scotland was.
