Carapelle Calvisio is a municipality ( comune ) in the province of L'Aquila in the Abruzzo region in Italy with (as of December 31, 2019) 86 inhabitants. The municipality is located about 24 kilometers east-southeast of L'Aquila in the Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga National Park , belongs to the Comunità montana Campo Imperatore-Piana di Navelli and borders directly on the province of Teramo . The 2009 earthquake severely damaged the community.
