Cappadocia is a municipality ( comune ) in the Abruzzo region and the province of L'Aquila in Italy and has 554 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019). The municipality is located about 40 kilometers south-southwest of L'Aquila , belongs to the Comunità montana Marsica 1 and borders directly on the province of Frosinone and the metropolitan city of Rome (both Lazio ).
