Lucoli is an Italian commune ( comune ) with 910 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of L'Aquila in Abruzzo . The municipality is located about 8.5 kilometers southwest of L'Aquila , belongs to the Comunità montana Amiternina and borders directly on the province of Rieti ( Lazio ). The administrative headquarters are in the Collamento district . In 2009 the community was badly damaged by an earthquake.
