Roccacasale is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 634 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of L'Aquila , Abruzzo . The municipality is located about 48 kilometers southeast of L'Aquila in the Majella National Park , belongs to the Comunità montana Peligna and borders directly on the province of Pescara .
