The Division 1 2011 was the sixth season of the third-class Swedish football league since its introduction in 2006. The regular season began on April 14, 2011 in the group Södra and 16 April 2011 in the group Norra. It ended on October 22, 2011 (Södra) resp. on October 23, 2011 (Norra).

mode

14 teams each competed in two regionally divided relays. The season winners rose directly to the second-rate Superettan , the respective runners-up competed in relegation games against the fourth and third from bottom of the Superettan. The three teams placed at the bottom of the table were relegated to fourth-class Division 2 .

    Relegation

    The 13th and 14th places of the Superettan 2011 played against the 2nd of the North / South Relay of Division 1 2011 in a play-off round with a round trip for relegation . The games took place on October 29th / 5th 2011 (Sylvia - Brage) and on October 30th / 6th November 2011 (Väsby - Värnamo). The two winners qualified for the 2012 Superettan .
