Dutch Open 2016 (9-Ball)
The Dutch Open in 2016 were the 145th Tournament of 9-Ball - Pool Billiard Tournament Series Euro tour . They took place from September 29th to October 2nd, 2016 in the Golden Tulip Jagershorst in Heeze-Leende in the Netherlands .
The Dutchman Niels Feijen won a Euro Tour tournament for the tenth time with a 9: 7 victory in the final against the Spaniard David Alcaide . Third place went to Wojciech Szewczyk and Francisco Sánchez .
The defending champion was the reigning 9-ball world champion Albin Ouschan from Austria, who was eliminated in the round of 32 against Mark Gray . Mateusz Śniegocki , who won the previous Euro Tour tournament with the Albanian Open 2016 , lost to the Czech Roman Hybler in the round of 16 .
Final round
The 159 participants initially competed against each other in a double knockout system . 32 players qualified for the final round, which was played in the knockout system .
