This article covers the Spanish national football team at the 2018 World Cup . Spain took part in the finals for the fifteenth time and reached the round of 16.
qualification
The team qualified for the World Cup in Russia through the qualifying matches of the European football association UEFA .
Games
Spain met in the group G in Italy , Albania , Israel , Macedonia and Liechtenstein . In the ten encounters that resulted, the Spanish team had nine wins.
