Harry Warburton ( April 10, 1921 - May 13, 2005 ) was a Swiss bobsleigh driver .

successes

Together with Max Angst, he won a bronze medal in the two-man bobsleigh at the Winter Olympics in Cortina d'Ampezzo in 1956 .

Warburton also won three medals at the ISBF World Championships : two gold medals , 1955 in two and 1954 in four, as well as a silver in four in 1955. He started in 1954 with Heinrich Angst , Gottfried Diener and Fritz Feierabend . Feierabend and Warburton won silver behind their compatriots at the 1955 championships with Aby Gartmann and Rolf Gerber in a different combination . In the two-man competition, however, they could prevail against Heinrich Angst and Franz Kapus . In 1956 Warburton drove with Heinrich's brother Max. Soon after the Olympic Games, he retired from active sports.
