Ekkehard Fasser
Ekkehard Fasser (born September 3, 1952 in Glarus ) is a former Swiss athlete and bobsleigh driver .
As a teenager, Fasser was a track and field athlete. In the 1970s he did high jump (1.98 m), long jump (6.94 m) and shot put (7 ¼ kg; 14.52 m). In 1978 Fasser pushed the two-man bobsleigh with Ralph Pichler . They won silver at the Junior World Championships in Winterberg . In 1981 he was called up for the Swiss national team's B squad, and in 1982 he was selected for the World Cup.
