Rudolf "Ruedi" Marti (born April 7, 1950 ) is a former Swiss bobsleigh athlete .

Marti's active career was short but successful. He won his first international medal at the 1976 Winter Olympics in Innsbruck . With his teammates Erich Schärer , Ulrich Bächli and Josef Benz , he won silver in the four-man bobsleigh. At the Bobsleigh World Championships in 1977 and 1978 , he also won silver in a foursome with the same team. Marti experienced his second Olympic Winter Games in Lake Placid in 1980 . There he came second again with Schärer, Bächli and Benz. He won the gold medal with this team at the 1980 European Bobsleigh Championships in St. Moritz . After this season, Marti resigned from competitive sports.

Before he turned to bobsleigh, Marti was active in athletics . In 1968 he was national champion of the juniors in the pole vault .
