Enrico Kühn

Enrico Kühn (born March 10, 1977 in Bad Langensalza ) is a German bobsleigh driver .

Career

Enrico Kühn worked as a hurdle sprinter at the children's and youth sports school in Jena until 1993 . He then tried out several other sports until he got into bobsleigh through his friend Christoph Heyder . Due to his talent, he was promoted as a sports soldier after a short time . In the 1999/2000 season he had to sit out for a long time due to an injury. Nevertheless, he made the connection again and was part of André Lange's four-man bobsleigh team , which won the gold medal at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City . After the games, Kühn changed bobsled several times. He started withChristoph Langen , with whom he won silver at the 2004 World Championships in Königssee , with René Spies he started a second time in the four-man bobsleigh at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin (fifth) and now in Thomas Florschütz's bobsleigh .
