The parish church of St. Jakobus is a late baroque complex that was built between 1713 and 1718. The tower is medieval, the high altar dates from 1720. The ceiling paintings show James as a pilgrim and the battle against the Moors as well as angels as the four cardinal virtues and are by the painter Josef Wittmann from 1915. The ceiling fresco Battle against the Moors is in the yearbook of the Society for Christian Art from 1917 described in detail and assessed in terms of art history. The painting of St. The family in the nave is from Josef Wittmann, an important neo-baroque painter. The cemetery chapel of the Holy Cross next to the church, an octagonal central building with a dome and vestibule, is culturally valuable. The chapel, which is brightly painted inside, contains important dance of death representations based on the model of Hans Holbein the Younger . It was built in the 17th century under the parish vicar Balthasargler (later a pilgrimage pastor on the Bogenberg ). The chapel is part of the coat of arms of the Haselbach community.
