The women's 200-meter run at the European Athletics Championships in 1994 was held on August 10 and 11, 1994 in the Olympic Stadium in the Finnish capital Helsinki .
In this competition, the Russian sprinters received two gold and bronze medals. European champion was the World Championship -Third of 1993 Irina Priwalowa that three days earlier and the 100-meter dash had won. Like over 100 meters, the Ukrainian Shanna Tarnopolskaya won the silver medal. She started later as Schanna Pintusewitsch or Schanna Block. As in 1990, bronze went to Galina Maltschugina .
