Lighthouses, Leit-, Leucht- und Molenfeuer was a special stamp series of the Deutsche Post of the GDR , which appeared with five values ​​each on May 7th 1974 and May 13th 1975 . Originally, the stamps had unlimited postage validity, but with German reunification they lost their validity on October 2, 1990.

All brands were offset in sheets of 10 x 5 with Kammzähnung 14 after the designs of Jochen Bertholdt produced and showed each lighthouse , or the direction light , beacon or pier light , and the accompanying chart from Seehydrographischen service of the GDR .

On February 17, 1976, the lighthouse Alte Weser brand appeared in the Definitive Industry and Technology series of the Deutsche Bundespost . The same stamp also appeared at the Bundespost Berlin.
