The list of cultural monuments in the Great Garden (Dresden) contains the cultural monuments of the Great Garden in the Dresden district of Altstadt II .
This district is divided into the districts of Johannstadt , Seevorstadt , Südvorstadt , Äußere Wilsdruffer Vorstadt and Großer Garten .
The notes are to be observed.

Monument text
Palais in the Great Garden (Great Garden). First significant secular building in Saxony after the 30 Years War, built for the later Elector Johann Georg III., The actual prelude to Saxon baroque architecture of the early 18th century. With its building sculpture covering all facades and the formerly splendid interior decoration, a creation of European standing . Building history: Begun in 1678 under Oberlandbaumeister Johann Georg Starcke, the shell was completed in 1683 (the small side portals in 1679 and 1680). Interior work probably until the end of the 17th century.
