The following list of countries according to the number of workers sorts countries and territories according to their total number of workers in the first part. In the second part, countries are sorted according to the distribution of their workforce, based on the three-sector hypothesis . The number of workers in a country is influenced by the number of inhabitants, the average age of a population, the labor market participation rate and the level of the unemployment rate .
